Raised beds & gardens

Can you build just one raised bed?

Yes. The work can begin with one straightforward raised box, several beds, a larger backyard garden, or an entire custom food-growing system.

Can you design a complete backyard garden system?

Yes. A custom plan can account for the property, dimensions, number of beds, materials, soil volume, layout, access, planting needs, irrigation requirements when applicable, and the level of service you want.

Do you only build the beds, or can you also fill and plant them?

You choose the service depth: build only; build and fill with soil; build, soil, and plants or seeds; or a scope that also includes ongoing maintenance.

Can you maintain the garden after installation?

Yes. Ongoing maintenance can be included when it is part of the custom scope. The estimate reflects the actual garden and the level of maintenance requested.

How is raised-bed or garden pricing determined?

Every project is custom quoted. Price depends on the specifications and service depth, including dimensions, number of beds, materials, soil volume, plants or seeds, site conditions, access, layout complexity, irrigation requirements when applicable, and maintenance scope. Shovel & Dirt does not publish arbitrary package prices or unestablished starting prices.

Can you help determine what would work on my property?

Yes. Start with what you want to grow and how much of the work you want handled. Sun, slope, water, drainage, access, available space, and site photos help define a useful plan.

Property services

What types of property projects do you take on?

The current service menu includes land clearing; bush hogging and brush removal; tractor and loader work; grading and drainage; gravel driveways and driveway repair; property cleanup; and fencing. Garden and raised-bed site preparation can also be part of a quoted project.

How is property-service pricing determined?

Property work is quoted from the actual scope. Access, terrain, materials, equipment requirements, drainage or site conditions, and job size can all affect the estimate. Pricing is not promised before the job is understood.

What should I have ready when I request a quote?

Share the property ZIP code, what needs to change, the approximate area or dimensions, access information, and any useful phone photos. Those details make the first conversation more productive.

The property will answer the rest.
