Shovel & Dirt grew out of the garden and property work Mike Shaner first offered through River Cade Farm Services. As that work became its own focus, he gave it a name built around the job itself.
Today, Shovel & Dirt brings raised beds, garden work, and practical property services under one owner-operated business. The common thread is useful ground: a place to grow food, better access, cleaner acreage, improved drainage, or a property ready for what comes next.
